Logging in to BxLink

Logging in to BxLink

Upon receiving an email from BxLink containing your username and temporary password, you can click on the link provided to access your account and create a custom password.

The best web browsers for logging in to BxLink are Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Microsoft Edge works as well, but please avoid Internet Explorer

Instructions

  1. Go to http://www.lumea.net

  2. Click on the “Client Login” tab in the top right corner. A new page will load with a username and password field to log in to BxLink.

  3. Enter your username and password.

  4. Click “Log in”

Check the box next to “START IN REDACTED MODE” PRIOR to logging in if you are in any location where patient privacy may be compromised, or are doing a training or demonstration of BxLink. In these situations, you are responsible for protecting patient PHI and are strongly encouraged to enter BxLink with the PHI redacted, per HIPAA regulations*. You can turn this option off within BxLink when patient privacy can be guaranteed.

While redacting PHI will remove patient names and DOB from the main BxLink screen, be advised that there may be viewable PHI within any given patient record, including attached documents and free-text fields such as Case Notes. It is your responsibility to protect PHI at all times per HIPAA guidelines.

  1. Once you have logged in, you will come to a page with the End User License Agreement. Please read the agreement, and select the box at the bottom that says “I have read and agree to the terms of the End User Agreement.” You may also select the box to email a copy of the agreement to yourself.

If you select the DISMISS option instead of reading and agreeing to the document, you will have 3 more chances to log in and dismiss the agreement. After you have dismissed it 3 times, you will be required to read and agree to the document before you are able to access BxLink.
